1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Elderly Care System, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Elderly Care System provides a platform for families to share messages, media, and reminders with elderly relatives via a dedicated presentation screen. The service is intended for informational and social purposes only.

3. Not a Medical Device

IMPORTANT: Elderly Care System is NOT a medical device, emergency alert system, or professional caregiving service. Do not rely on the system for life-saving reminders or emergency communications. Always verify medication and health-related schedules through professional medical channels.

4. User Accounts and Roles

• Family Admin: Responsible for billing and has full control over the account.
• Power User: Can configure screens and content but cannot access billing.
• Contributor: Can only submit media and messages.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access credentials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to upload or share content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the privacy of others. We reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Elderly Care System a limited license to store, process, and display that content on your authorized presentation screens.

7. Billing and Payments

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account management portal.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Elderly Care System shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these terms or for any other reason deemed necessary for the protection of the service and its users.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company is registered.
