Getting Started
New to ECS? Follow these three simple steps to bridge the distance with your loved ones.
- 1. Sign Up: Create an account and choose your plan.
- 2. Configure: Set up your presentation screen in the Portal.
- 3. Connect: Open the Presentation URL on your target TV.
TV Display Setup
Optimize the experience on smart TVs and dedicated displays.
- FireTV: Use the Silk or Firefox browser apps.
- Roku: Search for "Web Browser" in the Channel Store.
- Full Screen: Most browsers allow you to hide the address bar for a cleaner look.
- Sleep Settings: Ensure your TV's "Auto Sleep" or "Power Saver" mode is disabled for continuous display.
Submissions & Content
Share memories and messages without the complexity of social media.
- Submission Link: Share your unique link with family—no login required for them!
- Media Types: Send text, high-res photos, and short video clips.
- Moderation: Admins can review all incoming content before it goes live on the TV.
- Auto-Refresh: The TV screen updates instantly when new content is approved.
Calendars & Reminders
Stay organized with appointments and medication schedules.
- Integrations: Link Google, Apple, or Outlook calendars under the Integrations tab.
- Manual Entry: Add one-off events directly in the Portal.
- Pill Reminders: Set recurring alerts for medication.
- Visual Alerts: Important events appear as large cards on the screen.
Roles & Security
Protect your family's privacy with flexible access controls.
- Family Admin: Complete control over billing and users.
- Power User: Can manage content and screens (no billing access).
- Contributor: Can only send messages and media.
- Screen Locking: Enable PIN or Image Challenges for the TV display.
Billing & Account
Simple management of your subscription and family details.
- Payments: Powered by Stripe for enterprise-grade security.
- Cancellation: Cancel any time from the Billing Portal.
- Multiple Screens: Manage up to 5 unique screens on a single account.
- Data Export: Download a history of all shared messages and photos.
